About this Course
This course is designed to enhance the clinical experience for learners in the ambulatory care setting. The content in this course is applicable to those who have direct hands-on contact with the learner, which may include the clinical preceptor or the academic clinical instructor. General adult learning principles, as well as teaching and evaluation techniques will help the clinical instructor or preceptor feel confident in developing rapport and providing constructive feedback.
Objectives
- Identify relevance of cultural diversity and inclusion needs in nursing education
- Identify and overcome barriers to inclusive excellence
- Discuss elements of inclusive excellence in learning environment
